I myself find it hard to believe that someone could waster their whole day away playing video games. Doesn't it get BORING? Having to do the same thing over again if you die in the game, or continuing on to the next level that is very similar to the last one. Hardcore gamers would get offended with me saying this but going outside, you know nature NOT in a video, is more fun than you think it may be. When a game is in front of me on, I will play it and occasionally I'll play a couple of games in a row but not everyday. I can't lie, if I had Guitar Hero 1, 2, or 3 or a Wii Fit even Dance Dance Revolution, I would play those EVERYDAY because it requires me to move my body not just my fingers. Those are the kinds of games I could play for long periods of time without getting bored and slowly becoming a couch potato!
PARENTS, I know you sometimes want your alone time because your tired of having to deal with your kids but HOURS on a PS3 won't do any good for you or your child. You have to worry about your electricity bill while your kid is packing on the pounds. I can understand if you get your kid 10 games or so to keep them entertained while their playing but not 50 games for one console is way too much. Thats just asking your child to get obsessed with those games. Do you REALLY want that to happen?
I find now more than ever that alot of students that go to Ward playing on their PSP's or on their iPod Touch's (Tap Tap Revenge ....awesome game) instead of doing work. That's cutting into your unit time making you more likely to get thoses academic alert letters. Yes, I get caught up in playing Solitare instead of typing out that english assignment thats due next period but the gaming has to have a limit! What is it? When you eyes start to burn from looking at a screen for too long? When your still on unit 5's in March? When you start having dreams that your Master Chief (Halo for those who didnt get that)? Or is it when you relate everything to a game that you just play? I don't know. I think you should know when to stop the gaming, if not sorry to say but ...your addicted.

The Campaign Trail...YES WE CAN!
As we all know Mr. Barack Obama has made history by becoming the first African American President. Barack, a well spoken individual campaigned against John McCain for the position of President of the United States, and we know who failed and who succeeded. For now Obama is the President Elect, but come January 20, 2009 he will be the OFFICAL President (no more Bush, thank God).
Those "Wazzup" commercials that were posted showed two different situations at different time periods. In 2000, it showed 5 friends acting stupid with each other without a care in the world .....just enjoying themselves. In the one created in 2008 showed the same 5 friends in a different economic situation, it showed the one of the friends as a solider in the war in Iraq, another one of the friends lost his house and his job, another one i guess couldnt get proper health care assistance so is complaining about his aches and pain... its just a couple of broken bones... no biggy. About the other 2 friends, one was struggling to get inside his apartment because of the hurricane he was facing due to global warming (I think that was the message that Obama was trying to say) and the other saw his stock go down on his computer because of the economic crisis.
In that commercial Obama was trying show you the different issues that Americans have and that aren't bring resolved. Like one of the main problems in American is the war that going on between the USA and Iraq. This war is causing alot of hate between these two countries and pain to families in Canada because of the Canadian soilders dying in the war. All of these things can be somewhat resolved if you elect Barack Obama as president hopefully the war situation first. He can bring change meaning new plans and different ways of dealing with these issue. PERSONALLY I am a supported of Obama and I believe that he can bring change and I am waiting to see how fast that change can come!
